From March 17th to March 23rd, India imported a total of 3,701,508 tonnes of steam coal from various countries, recording a 19% increase week on week.
Indonesia emerged as the primary source, accounting for a substantial 66.7% of
the total coal imports.
The United States and South Africa were also significant
contributors, collectively providing 21.5% of the total imported coal.
Additionally, China, Russia, Mozambique, and New Zealand also contributed moderately.
